The car was old, and furthermore, Hadley realized, was authentically so. Not like the bad reproductions more nostalgic people from the Community drove around. It was obviously very well cared for, looking as bright and shiny as something fresh from a dealership, but Hadley also knew these small discrepancies between average cars would not be what authorities would notice.
It was painted a dramatic, ludicrous fuchsia.
Jumping into the vehicle, she had barely enough time to seat herself before the engine roared and her and the strange woman were going much faster than anything the street had ever bore. Hadley caught her breath and took several quick glances around the car.
She saw Vera grin and swiftly manipulate the wheel.
'Only questions," she says first. "Only questions."
"Thats not really your hair."
A frown briefly marred her face. "That...ahm..is very observant of you," she replied hastily, carefully patting what had just masqueraded as blonde hair. "I had to wear a wig here. Lets just say my real hair color would have gotten much more attention earlier." The grin grew, stretching vibrant red lips over perfectly white teeth.
"Somehow, I dont think too much attention is something you worry about."

I have no idea what this is set in or what's going on, but I want a fuchsia car.
